Characteristics & Applications
This cable is designed for duct installation by pulling or blowing.
Its LSZH-FR outer sheath complies with Indoor/Outdoor installation.
The cable characteristics are the following:
- Capacity up to 12 fibers (SP682) or up to 24 fibres (SP595)
- FRP reinforcement
- Indoor/Outdoor jacket material
- Suitable for use in ducts
- Waterproof structure
- Basic Rodent resistance
- All dielectric design
- Flame retardant halogen free Outer Sheath with UV resistance
- Fire non propagation (IEC 60332-3)
Nexans fibre cable UD LSZH can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.
For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit your application: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) or GIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).
Installation
- Set cutter blade at 1.50 mm
- Cut 10 cm of the outer sheath to access ripcord
- Use ripcord for cutting and removing the sheath up to 3 m in one operation
Construction
- Gel filled tube containing up to 24 individually coloured fibres
- Dielectric FRP armour :
from 2 up to 12 fibres : 4 x FRP and 5 fillers
from 14 up to 24 fibres : 5 x FRP and 5 fillers
- Flame retardant halogen free outer sheath
