Splitters and filters are necessary optical components in the network.
The splitters are used in PON networks to distribute the laser beam from a unique fiber at the central office towards 64 or 128 subscriber fibers.
The filters are used to add and remove optical signals from a fiber.
Both type of optical components can be delivered preterminated with connectors, to save splicing time on the field.
