Applications
Rubber sheathed flexible cable RHEYCORD-OFE R with optical data transfer elements was developed for long distance communication network (LDN) e.g. optical PROFIBUS networks with special application requirements on
- mobile material handling equipment
- small motor driven reels
- spring driven reels
The cable is used for high mechanical loads.
Design
Optical Fibers
Two stranded jelly filled PBTP loose tubes; Colour code:
- ....G62.5/125 µm - blue
- ....G50/125 µm - green
- ....E9/125 µm - yellow
Second tube - red
High-tech synthetic threads, covering 100%
Thermoplastic sheath, compress- and tensile load resistant
Braid made of non-hygroscopic, synthetic threads with high tensile load
Outer sheath
Chlorinated heavy duty rubber compound, type G5M5 acc. to DIN VDE 0207 part 21, oil-resistant, flame retardant, abraison and notch-resisitant, colour: black
